In this presentation, Kreutler details the projects that presaged this current moment of decentralized technologies. The talk discusses the possibilities that DAOs present for all types of creative communities, demonstrating the rich capability for blockchain technologies to empower individual and collective action through new heterarchical ways of organizing, distributing, and making transparent emergent network structures.
Kei Kreutler
Kei Kreutler is a writer, artist, gardener, amateur astronomer, organizer, and developer interested in how cultural narratives of technologies shape their use. Since 2017, she has led strategy at Gnosis, developing decentralized infrastructure for web3. Now she focuses on building Zodiac, a collection of tools built according to an open standard for decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs). She also contributes to Other Internet research group and sits on the Board of Regen Foundation.
